Economic-report automation
At DATAX, I designed a consulting-report format and built a workflow to produce customized economic reports using Python, VBA, and the OpenAI API.
Designing the report and the process
During my internship at DATAX, I designed the content structure of a magazine-style consulting report for regional international-trade merchants and professionals. It combined macroeconomic context, international economics, market trends, and product-specific insights.
I then built an automated workflow using Python, VBA, and the OpenAI API to generate customized reports. The work included defining the roles and communication logic of AI assistants and bringing the material into a consistent Excel-to-PDF reporting process.
Where analysis meets communication
My contribution brought together three concerns: which information a report should contain, how its parts could be assembled, and how the reader would encounter the finished document.
The result was an automated reporting workflow and a structured report format. It gave me practical experience translating an analytical task into a repeatable process, with presentation considered from the beginning.
